Citizens’ Residency Card

The Citizen’s Residency Card is a State Identity Card that allows the Edo State Government to be furnished with current data outlining who lives and resides within the state. It is linked with the NIMC and allows individuals to interact with Edo State Government services.

It comes with a policy that restricts any person from interacting with Government Services in Edo State without the Residency Card. These services include; access to land in Edo State, Health Insurance, registering of building plans, acceptance into State-owned schools to list a few.

Project Objectives:

To capture demographics of Citizens/Residents in Edo State for future planning, engagement and provision of social amenities.

Key Results:

This card is assisting the Edo State Government in planning effectively for development, growth and progress of the state.
